Back in late spring I got the P0300 code. I pulled my at then brand new NGK plugs, checked all gaps (one plug was off by .01 others were .28), cleared code with X4 device and never seen it again. In the last week the temps having been dropping in the single digits at night with day highs in the teens and in the last week I have gotten this code twice. Car runs fine, no stalling, no sputtering, nothing, I clear the code and it's like it never came on. I have not pulled and checked the plugs yet. But I did call my Ford dealership and the service advisor had no clue what I was talking about. Says this is the first time he's heard of a P0300 code. Really? So I did a google search and a forum search and the info I found (no I didn't read every single link) seemed pretty sketchy about there being a fix for this code. Anyone here with some concrete knowledge about this?
Much appreciated!
