Sorry for cross posting but figured more exposure here.
So have had a stumbling / hesitation after changing gear but no EML and initially I thought i had no error codes but using Forscan instead of torque pro i do have an error code stored. I have cleared it and after a drive it came back funnily enough the car still stumbles at low revs.
===PCM DTC P0024:00-6C===
Code: P0024 - 'B' Camshaft Position Timing - Over-Advanced (Bank 2)
Status (-6C):
- DTC Maturing - Intermittent at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC
- Test not complete
Module: Powertrain Control Module
Freeze Frame #1:
Freeze Frame #2:
-EVENT_TIME: 206628233 s (Sat Aug 26 13:58:17 2023) - Event time
did some electrical testing today. Ignition off values as below
Vct solenoids both banks exhaust vct read 8ohms
Vct wiring bank 1 90ohms bank 2 38ohms (this is the bank with the issue).
So we does that mean there's a body harness issue or is there something else i can check before punting car into a garage ?
