Order tracking once car is built?

Is there a way you can track what is going on with your car once it has been built? My build is in the trim shop and should be completed today. It's ETA is the last week of this month. It was actually built a week ahead of schedule. Is there a way to track your car online as it moves from production to holding, and then on to rail to its destination? Thanks!

If it's being shipped Union Pacific and you have the railcar # you can use their automated 1-800-272-8777 phone system. P.S. If you get a human they will not be able to provide assistance (at least that was my experience).

Same here, that sourced provided my VIN, build date, and shipping dates, long before my dealer decided to look up the info for me.

If not for that source, I would probably have no idea the car is being delivered today or tomorrow.

There is an insider at Ford on Bossmustangsonline.com that has the ability to track orders via dealer and order number, or VIN. Where does one find the rail car number? I have my window sticker and it says rail-ramp one-R073. There are other numbers on it as well.
