Ordered 7/13 got email 7/22 for week of nov15 build date,then next day email
For week of sept 13.what do u guy think about really get it build that quick.

I ordered mine June 30th and it has a production estimate of the week of 25 of October. So it seems to jive. November 1st was the original date I was given but it was moved up a week.

What options did you go with?
premium, Recaros, Navigation and Handling Pack

glad I saw this post so I won t worry about the first build date I get and that it may change to sooner.
Yesterday ordered Mach 1, 6 speed, 700a.
If it takes too long I don t have to take it at no penalty to me.

Dealership here dropped the ball hard, ordered back in April before the Handling Pack was really even a option, Had only the option to select the wheels to add the handling pack. Took them 4 months to put the order in after asking about it a few times. Got the email conforming the order the same day in June and a few days later a build week of Sept 20. Last Sunday it was pushed to the week of Oct 11.

Definitely something is up with that order.

Handling pack was available on Monday, January 4th in US. A friend had a delivery in April that ordered on 1/4 of his HP car.

I ordered 4/6 (HP, FJG, 700A, elite, no nav), and currently end of September estimated build. VIN number received 4/8 or 4/9 I think.

Are allocations dealer based? I wasn’t even trying to order a Mach 1 but my local dealer said they have no mustang allocations at all and probably won’t until spring 2022 so basically told me thanks but no thanks.

The Mach 1 that they We’re supposed to for 2021.I went to dealer about if girds got to make a 2022 Mach 1 they said will try and order a 2021 for u and see what happen.and sure Enough ford excepted the order.

I was told if the vin runs into the model year change that the ordered car will just be a 2022 instead . not sure if prices then changes too?

Information provided by our friend @amk91 (this info is subject to change)

1. Job 1 is supposed to be January 3, 2022
2. 2021MY ordering ends October 1, 2021.
3. 2022MY Ordering opens October 11, 2021
4. 2021MY Production ends on December 23, 2021
5. 2022MY deliveries should be next February, reaching possibly up to March 2022.

take effect, order date, confirmed date, date it gets a vin and build date, etc?
