Hey guys! So as some of you may know we recently installed a Whipple 2.9L whipple stage 2 supercharger kit on Ash's 2016 GT. The car is an absolute blast and although the car gets a fair amount of whine from the blower by itself, we decided to try out Shawn Foster's "Stage 4" Sound tube mod.

All I have to say is WOW. The whine is crazy loud. It reminds me of a Ford GT with how loud and distinct the whine is. Check out the video below to get an idea of how loud it is.

The kit is simple and includes drill bits and everything needed to hook it up. I was a little sketched about drilling into the MAF housing but AFR is spot on and the other end of the tube is sealed so no MAF air leaks. Shawn also makes this mod for other superchargers and even other make cars.

Sure you didn't get a cat stuck in there somewhere? Loud, yes. Good...not so sure.

I love supercharger whine.. just like I love turbo whistle.. but I love it outside the cabin, not inside Lol.. that could get annoying after a while.

Sounds awesome tho.

Why not just plumb it out of the hood and directly into your ear drum.... LOL...

Sure cool at first and the first week or so of driving around like that, but that would get old after a while

I get people like that in trouble, because the cops only ever see them, when they are trying to keep up with me...

All that just to get more sound inside the car. Nothing more outside. As we are all deleting our sound tubes installed from the factory. But there is a bright side to all of this!!! When ya start making boost, that tube is gonna suck in all your candy wrappers, leaves or whatever and feed Em to the supercharger. But the drivers floor will be spotless. Lmao!!!!
