OIL Drain plug

Just made an oil change in dealership and was told, that oil drain plug needs to be changed to a new one after every oil drain - it says so in the manual ..

Interesting. I’m surprised it’s any different from the mustang plug

I’m afraid a non oem plug will unscrew itself or otherwise somehow pop out.

Just changed my plug last oil change at 56k, and only because one of the tangs broke off…jus sayin

What does your owners manual say ?

EDIT; not sure where you are going with this one, have we EVER seen a manual that required replacing an oil plug…or was that your point

Have the Femco still on the car. No leaks, hasn't fallen off or anything crazy happen.
