Fog lights on with high beams is called "Bambi Mode", I enabled it with Forscan on my Mustang and F150.

So many things can be done with Forscan! Got very familar when I did MFT>SYNC3 swap and digital gauge cluster upgrade on my 2015 GT.
BAMBI MODE. :crackup::crackup:

So if I enable this, I get a nice medium rare venison steak for dinner also??

Reading more about it, it seems it's really not that hard and the adapters are $20ish... Might need to get it, especially considering wife picked up used F150, so I can use it for that too!
The one that really works and is recommended by ForScan is $50.

This works fine, been using for awhile. Does have a little pain having to use the switch when doing some programming but forscan prompts when to switch with no problems. All the codes that folks are talking about for "bambi" mode, double honk without key in vehicle etc... can be found in other forum links. Please do some digging, will be surprised what you learned. Did my mft/sync3.4 and dash learning from those pages along with disabling some of the modes discussed.

Well, ya got a link, buddy? :inspect:
One does not simply recommend products without a link on this site.

We are not savages here.
See my last post, should help.

"Do some digging" is a dangerous sentence on this page. It's a rabbit hole for most of these, in terms of so much info! Most of it usually good though.
I've seen another one with the switch too, is this notoriously bad unit or something?

You know I was busting your chops, right? :)

Sweet, that's great links, thank you, will have to look into it. I think I guess I might have to "bite the Bullitt" on the Forscan.

SW Ohio, Dayton area. But will be making my way up to near Nelson Ledges/Pittsburgh for some track stuff

No worries... I was green also when I started this venture. It really is pretty easy if you take your TIME. Read, review, Read, backup, then make change. Best is turning off the double honk!, door ajar chimes, The others are extra gravy...

I'm about 30 minutes east of Boardman Ohio , Tip of Western PA

So before I buy a new scanner, I have a cheap BT scanner, but that one might not let me do what I want I guess...

Haven’t read the whole thread, but has anyone used Cyanlabs.net Sync3 updater to upgrade their Sync system and maps ?
