searched here but can’t anything related to OEM wheel and tire combination weights. Would like to compare against aftermarket wheels. If anyone knows, would appreciate information. Thanks.

I had my wheels off for cleaning so I weighed them for you. Fronts are 59 lbs. Rears are 60.6 lbs. Tires have about 11000 miles on them.

Just google boat anchor. I believe first result is GT350 wheel.
Wouldnt that be the '67/'68 390 engine though - commonly and endearingly referred to as a boat anchor? ;)

Hahahhaha...that was great! Yea, I don’t know the number, I never appreciated it until I got my Vibe R’s! Holy cow what a seat-of-the-pants difference.

My new R size BC forged track spec RZ10 wheels are 22.5 pounds and tires are MPS4’s which are approximately 28 pounds...so about 50 pounds per wheel/tire combo. That’s a good 10 pounds savings per axle and 40 pounds savings overall. Yes, the OEM wheels and tires are crazy heavy.
Looks good! My GT350 is so new I haven't even taken off the wheels yet - and my back is not looking forward to 61lbs per corner!

By the way, I looked up the difference in weight between the 2016 GT350 rear tire and 2016 GT350R rear tire:

Michelin Pilot Cup SS 305/35/R19 (102Y) = 30.69 lbs (per Michelin spec sheet, attached)
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 315/30/R19 (100Y) = 26.52 lbs (per Michelin spec sheet, attached)

Surprising that the larger tire is significantly less weight!

For one more surprise, the exact specs for the GT350 (non-R) PSC2 tires (100Y) are not listed nor do they appear to be available at TireRack yet. Don't get a flat!!!

Wheels and Tires:
Front: 46 lbs
Rear: 47 lbs

Wheels only:
I don't know the difference between the front and rear but they weigh about 18 lbs.

This is based off the first and second article I found from a 2 second Google Search...
