I'm interested in playing around with them for kicks and giggles, but am also considering using an ipad mounted where the 'R' blank on the console is (non-electronics package car) to monitor vehicle info. (I might also use that ipad as a head unit to drive tunes through some bluetooth speakers that I can set in the car when I need tunes).

Any advice from folks who've used them?

thanks.

I've used this one in both my cars and it seems to work well.
Not very expensive but build quality is nice. I used it with Android and the Torque app, though it does come with it's own app as well.

I was looking for one that would work with Harry's Lap Timer.

They have a few recommended ones on their website but I haven't actually tried buying one yet.
