So, I'm looking for rear tires for the street. I want to save my MT ET DRs for the track on my 19s. However, on my 20s I currently have 305 MT street comps and they spin everytime I get on it a little even in 3rd and 4th. When I try to get a 3rd gear log, the street comps are terrifying lol. I was thinking NT555Rs would be good or NT05Rs. There is a sale on ebay right now and I can get the NT555Rs for $540 shipped or the NT05Rs for $566 shipped.

255 19s in the front and 305 20s in the rear. I have PP replicas in the rear. My PP rear 19s have the MT DRs on them. The MT don't last and are horrible when it rains lol. I figured the the NT555Rs would still give me dry traction and also a little better wet traction than the MT DRs.

Report back after awhile and let us know if you're getting any better traction with those NT555r's out back.

I had the Nt555r on a 600hp 2008 mustang gt, automatic , in straight line they would spin up so fast the transmission shifted to 2nd if I didnt lift ,later I installed nt05r and they gripped alot better were I got wheelspin in 1st but it didnt catch 2nd gear, but wet they are horible, thats where the 555r was better, but you are going to go thru them fast, it took me less then 5000miles to do that, but lunching like that became a habit and it was ridiculously fun

How are these doing for you on the street (555r's)? I am looking to order a set this week to support the Procharger I am dropping in very soon. Looking for 620iah the rear so if these are holding your 700+ I'll order asap!

I think I'm bout to order some for my bolt on car, hoping this is not a stupid move. After adding headers/lund FF tune/PMAS the street comps just aren't functional anymore. Plus, a camaro called out a buddy at the track and i wana go see just how shitty i drive these days
