Hi there guys. This is my first stick shift car so im not really sure if these sounds are normal.
Sometimes when hitting the clutch quick i can hear a couple taps that sound like the plate bouncing for a second.
Another thing is while on the highway in traffic i can feel under low gas pedal application the car seems to jog back and forth as if drivetrain slack is loading and unloading.
The other thing is when i dont get a perfect shift i feel that slack in the drivetrain.
I understand some slack is normal im just not positive how much there should actually be especially with this much power to reload the slack so forcefully.
So my question is, what is normal? What sounds and thuds do you guys experience? If this is normal what can i do to improve this?
