Has any member on the forums bought the nitto nt555g2 tires and had problems with the rear end swaying from 50 and up?

Well went to discount tire today (not the one i bought the tires at) and had them look at the tires. I bought the tires 3 weeks ago. With my suspension mods and invo tires car was very stable. Put new tires on and from the get go car was swaying. The store manager said they might have over torqued the wheel upon install but was jus speculating
You always hear that you have to break in new tires. Most will say 500 miles. Did that. Dont drive my car much during the week because i have the privelage of bringing my work van home. Not an option this week because my van was broke down (crappy ford transit). Conversation for another time.
Been driving my car for the last week so tires have been broken in
Anytime i get above 50mph the car feels weird. Like im driving and the rear end is constantly hit with wind
Like i said went to discount today let them check the tires. Well comes to find out i have a bent wheel. Granted wheel does have some curb rash (which i still pissed about:frusty::frusty:) anyway
The wheels had the same curb rash with the invos

I know without a doubt i am not the cause of the bent wheel

I am going tomorrow afternoon to talk to store mgr at the location i bought the tires. Hopefully things will work out but feeling like i am going to have to buy a new wheel because of previously mentioned curb rash

Anyways just venting

If your MMR wheel is bent, how did it happen, rash? Or curb strike? MMR may reply to this thread.

Yes the wheel is bent. The wheel does have a little curb rash from where I got too close to the curb. I have no clue as to how the wheel got bent. All I know is that after i got the car back from discount it was swaying. At first I jus chalked it up to being new tires but it never went away

They put it on their wheel balancing machine
Im alright broths, dropped of the shelby at the dealership to fix some issues.

Did they do that with or without a tire ? Any runout readings ?

Tire was still on the wheel. No didn't get any readings

Its not visible at all. I didn't see any bend anywhere
I mean if you didnt see it and they didnt give a readout and the tite was on brother then I mean how could there be stated that it has a bend, get what I mean.

All wheels have slight oval shape to them hence tmwhy they get. Balanced.

Sounds funky to me since im not there to see it first hand im basing it off what your telling me.

That was one of the things that the mgr at discount was saying. He was looking at the wheel looking for bends like from hitting potholes couldn't find a thing. The only visible problem with the wheel is the curb rash on it

Was it mounted on the balancer properly ? If its wobbling it could be that as ironic as ive heard

Could be a barrel out of round from impact of some sort and i mean like you drove off a curb, hit s pothole and such
