nGauge Issue

So, I installed a few parts today which included my whipple 132mm TB and a BAP. I go to flash my car for the first time with the nGauge and it says that the voltage is too low. I go buy a new battery ans try again, same thing happens. Now I have hooked my car up with jumpper cables to my truck. Voltage remains at 12.6 volts. I go to flash it but the same thing happens, at the end of the flash it says that the voltage has dropped too low and the ecu wasn't flashed. WTF!!! I can't drive my car on the current tune because it was tuned with the stock TB. This isn't the first time that I have used a tuning device. I have been using a cobb accessport since 2005.

I did jumper cables from my truck to my car. I also bought a new battery today but my original battery only had 3200 miles on it. The voltage was holding at 12.6 with my car off, while the nGauge was attempting to flash.

I have asked the vendor if I can exchange the nGauge for the SCT X4. It just doesn't make sense to have to hook your car up to a battery charger or jump it during a flash.

There has to be a fix for this. Must be software or firmware related somehow? Have you asked Lund about the issue?

I've talked to Lund on Facebook. I updated the firmware but that didn't work. Idk, I'm pissed and going to start drinking.

just need to get the firmware updated to the 165 version and all will be good.

the 164 update from 2 weeks ago had a voltage glitched, already been fixed in 165

Just got it to work. For some reason it wasn't overriding the version 164 when I was updating it. I ended up catching that and deleted everything and updating it again. Flashed with no problem this time. Thanks Beef!
