Need some help

I know the gears and bearings are different. But will a ring and pinion shim kit for all other 8.8 diffs work on the super 8.8 diff in the 15 GT?

I'm doing a gear swap, and the ford dealer I ordered my install kit forgot to mention they wouldn't ship out for 2 weeks. I have everything else I need except shims

I doubt it - all of the bearing in the Super 8.8 are larger in diameter than the original model. That means, I expect, that the shims would have to be as well. I'll have to check.
EDIT - I checked carrier bearing shims that I have here, and they are larger. I can't speak for the pinion bearing shims, since I don't have those onhand, but the same logic should hold. But at least part of the package is different.
