Photo was taken at dusk at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa, ON. Love the how the Fighter Jet Grey seems to change colors in the light.

Yes, great photo but looks enhanced?
Thank you. Its not... just done by a professional photographer with an expensive lens (DSLR) and longer exposure at dusk. There were tons of other shots that didn't turn out like this one... just timing, and great reflected lighting off of the cloud cover, that, and it's hard to get a bad shot of FJG.. but I'm a bit biased. LOL

Thank you Byung. I wish I could take credit for it, but, it was a young professional photographer with a good eye and an expensive camera . :-)

All photos are “enhanced”. The image captured by a digital camera is then processed by the algorithm for the camera jpeg image, or if RAW by the software used to process the raw image. The algorithms used are based upon what output the software developer desired. Candidly, each person’s eyes and brain see things differently. I “enhance/process” my special images to try to recreate what I saw at the time I took the image.

Even before digital, it was the same “enhancement or processing” based upon the film used and the developing /printing process.

Not trying to lecture, but yep, they’re all enhanced, some done well and some not so well. A good photographer and good camera make a big difference. And, yes, out of dozens taken only one MIGHT capture that perfect shot!

I like to disassemble things.
Well said. I'm all for good, clean editing from a RAW image. It's the cell phone artificial blur/app effects that I find cringeworthy. If you want captivating depth of field, buy a camera and do it the right way.

If somebody has an "expensive" DSLR or mirrorless camera they are running their photos through editing software. Especially if they consider themselves to be professional. As well they should as correcting for white balance, etc, is far more pleasing to a trained eye.

MUSTANG PHOTOGRAPH OF THE MONTH RESULTS

What can I say about November's winning photograph apart from it being pretty much perfect in every way! Well done Andrew (@pozi240)

As always, @Epiphany has come up with another beautifully composed photograph that is almost monochrome, taking out the runner-up position.

In third place, on countback, is a personal favourite of mine, being a keen Ford Supercar supporter. Pete's (@Brisvegas) image of Mustang driver David Reynolds in full flight at the Gold Coast (Australia) event is spectacular! Technically difficult to shot through the catch fence, not to mention the speed of the subject going past the lens!

Thank you to everyone who made a contribution to the competition, either by submitting a photograph or by voting.

The November competition is now CLOSED, so please post your next contributions in the new thread for December.
