Iconic Ford Mustang for Europe

The Ford Mustang will deliver world-class levels of performance and refinement, as well as classic design elements. These will include the sleek profile, three-dimensional, tri-bar taillamps and signature trapezoidal grille with the shark-bite front fascia. The European trim includes revised rear tail lamps, side mirrors and front end treatment.

Not many people in the EU will buy the V8. Emission taxes and high fuel prices will see to that. The Ecoboost will see the highest volume of sales. Not sure how the back will differ. I don't understand why they put on the faux gas cap. I can appreciate it as a nice little retro thing for the 50 year trim, but I thought we had left it behind for the 2015 version.

Still not sold on the clear taillights, especially with darker paint colors.

Probably safety regulations: Cars have to be 'safe' for people you may hit. (Weird, i know) So you cannot have stuff on your hood that may injure them even more.

We were on Paris a few weeks ago, and a nothing special lunch for two is $60. We saw many torches and scooters. In that environment, it will be interesting to, see how many they sell.

Man I love those tails... they would go great with Guard. Hopefully they're not too expensive to import.

Tails are awful, but the faux gas cap is more interesting visually than the plain old GT logo, that's for sure. Wish we got those decent-sized side mirrors here - as one reviewer remarked, the NA side mirrors are tiny. Not a great idea on a coupe with virtually no over the shoulder sightlines.

bummer!

plus the missing hoodvents and those awful taillights...I think I´ll cancel :(

It may not be necessary to import them. I had a 1996 Impala ST and was active in the club. Some people ordered the export tail lights from dealers here, especially a dealer who had excellent parts prices and service.
