Nice to see the Mustang back on top in sales!
I'm surprised the Camaro dropped so hard after such a good showing in October.
I guess the Camaro sales incentives in October didn't happen in November.

Looks like GM might have found the current price ceiling for their Camaro (or the segment in general).

The Camaro didn't have a good showing in November.

The Mustang plunged, the Camaro didn't skyrocket.

The Gen 6 will likely never, ever reach the large sales numbers the Gen 5 did or the S550 has.

Is the Camaro a flop? I'd say no..but I would also say it's not fair to call it the runaway success the Gen 5 and S550 was.

Well it looks like everyone who wanted to buy a Camaro when they dropped in price did that in sept/oct.

I am in the Atlanta area and the 20% off is still being run on local TV commercials here. Saw it last night as a matter of fact.

Mustang still rules with MY 18 on the way November shows Mustang is the best :ford: even with 20% off camaros they still didn't move, wander how many 16s are left on the lot. I think this also shows BMW owners aren't buying camaro ether no matter how much chevy try's to make people think its better than BMW. :lol:

I honestly don't think it's the visuals of it.

I think it's the fact that it's a more expensive but less practical car. There's less trunk space, less rear seat space, less visibility and it costs more.

They've created "Corvette lite" instead of it being a true Grand Touring 2+2 car. Call it evolution, call it progress, but sometimes you need to arrest progress and evolution when it's going to far or straying from the path.

I think GM saw the accolades the Z/28 gained for the Camaro, both domestic and abroad and thought "We should make the entire Camaro line like that"..so they progressively set the bar higher and higher.

The whole "our target is not the Camaro" or "Our target is not the Mustang" is horsecrap, from both camps..the Camaro should ALWAYS benchmark the Mustang and the Mustang the Camaro. That's not to say that other vehicles shouldn't be compared against, but Ford and GM need to be real about who is really going to be their competition and be cross shopped.

The refresh is already locked in, and has been for a while.

It absolutely is the the looks. Almost the same ,and the tails on the Camaro look very similar to the Malibu. That is where is the S550 shines, the new look. That is why it has dominated sales.
