my car is new, so I am not pushing it too hard. But it feels powerful, relative to my old car, and makes a reasonably decent rumble, so I got to testing out the Track Apps, 0-60 timer.
I would spin up the 5.0 up to 4500 RPM before making a (soft) shift, and I was averaged around 10 seconds. And it occurred to me, that a Honda 4-banger with a CVT could keep up with me.
I can see how an Auto version is much easier for beginners to beat the clock. Just mash the peddle and let the computers and torque converter do the magic.
