Mustang CL (Champions League) customers

I'd like to know if we all have already received our car and if you received something different/special to other customers.

In my case I received the 50 anniversary book and they promised me that the car would have an inscription similar to a special edition where it would say something like this: "Limited edition nº xxx/500". Finally, as was feared, no inscription was found. I agreed with the dealer that we'll discuss this issue after holidays since I have an email from Ford Spain guaranteeing this.

And you? Have you received anything? Did your dealer promised anything?

EDIT: Googleing a little, I've been able to find a lot of sources where they mention this "limited edition" issue. Some of them are even owned by Ford. Concretely most of them say "During the match they will have the chance to register their details for an opportunity to purchase one of the 500 models that will include a special package and a limited edition certificate". Now, no special package and no limited edition certificate nor badge. In addition, some CL customers are still waiting for their car.
In my opinion it's a clear case of misleading advertising.
In my case, this false information was one of the reasons that convinced me of buying the car without having seen it. And I have even a Ford Spain's email where they guaranteed the limited edition badge in February.

I'm going to try to get something because this limited edition issue can probably mean a minor depreciation in the future.

I also think that the more we are, the more chances we have.

Ford have basically forgotten about us given the high demand they received for the car.

I don't think the CL cars will have a higher residual value than regular ones. You'd have to have a lot more exclusive features on the car like for example in the 50th Anniversay Package that was available in the US for 2015. That one featured specially embossed leather seats, exclusive taillight trim, an exclusive wheel design and and an exclusive grill with corral. A future second hand buyer might fancy that a little bit over a regular version.

The CL buyers get a standard car with a different plastic plate on the dash. There has been no specific marketing, no press coverage about the 'first edition' actually being released and not even the promised early delivery. Actually a lot of the 'winners' got quite the opposite and are still waiting for their car.

The original CL idea was cool but Ford Europe completely f#cked it up in the execution.

I think they simply jumped the gun... I truly believe that Ford thought they'd have cars here last year/early this winter (these CL cars), but then ran into issues and the EU homologation

I also believe that this "certificate" simply was meant to be a paper slip. And I'm pissed off I didn't get one (haven't heard anything about any of these CL cars up here, and according to Ford there was supposed to be 3 cars held for Norway).

They probably don't see it that way. They got loads of people's details and an idea of the likely interest (at least initially) in the car. Companies do "competitions" like this all the time.

On the German forum someone who apparently just picked up his CL car wrote that Ford is hosting some sort of event on the Red Bull Ring on the 1st of October where all the CL cars are invited to come together and get their badges installed.
