Modify Auto bezels

Is it possible to remove the prnds piece as well as bevel on right to make auto car appear like manual? I think it would look nicer

The bezel also comes with the leather boot, they're glued together - which is OK, as you'd need it anyway; I don't think the auto boot would fit the manual bezel. I think the biggest challenge would be to detach the current boot from the shifter and attach the new one. With the manual shifter it's easy - unscrew the knob and just slide the boot along the stick. The auto shifter may be different though.

I dont think you can do that. You need to order the whole manual boot (about $50) and then you can attach it to the auto shifter. Very easy to do. If you do a search on here you will find a bunch of people who have done it.

I just ordered a manual boot to do just that. I’ll post up pics and the install.

Also one other thing. im wanting to do custom boot and nob after that. I have looked into doing the short auto shifter by white madness garage and then i can use any normal universal nob. should this all work

Will i be able to use my automatic shift nob after i change it out for now untill i can by the short shifter conversion or another auto knob?
