May I introduce SILVY to you

...I have written this somewhere in this Forum before... I am going to take delivery of my S 550 by the end of spring, when my BMW Z4 35i is going to leave. I ordered my S 550 last year by the end of march to make sure, the car will be here in time... last week my dealer sent me the first pics of my car arriving.

So here she is: SILVY

An Ingot-silver Fastback GT Automatic 6P ;)
PP Premium Pack (U.S. most of that is Standard on the Euro cars)
PP Performance Pack (U.S. most of that is Standard on the Euro cars)
PP Premium Pack (Euro, including Sat-Nav, nickel-luster 19 Inch Performance wheels, Chrome around the DLO etc.)

As soon as she, SILVY, is here, I am gonna look for a nice Location to take some pics in bright sunshine

Start with the RED vinly side markers, you problably saw in my Silver shadow post how great they look on Ingot !

And we are still missing an ingot GT on our Lux event in June! Guess you'll have Silvy home by than.

well, all the mods HAVE to be roadlegal, that will be the conditio sine qua non

concerning the side-markers i would prefer the clear lense style of the tails lights and the chmsl:

and i am thinking about the bbk exhaust. which is road legal and the Sound is a Kind of what homer Simpson said: when i stomp on the gas, i want People to think it is the end of the world

1. attach your Computer to your Stereo set
2. turn on the volume and the bass
3. select These vids

DD can't deliver these plastics yet...keep me posted if you can get hold of them, we can bundle 2 pairs in a shipment as it will be cheaper to send from Germany and split cost from USA. I will add some LEDs in this shipment as well...

The exhaust is insane, your neighbours might wanna kill you...and can't imagine this is legal, what's the max allowed dB in Germany?

:headbonk: as i quoted homer Simpson: when i stomp on the gas, i want People to think it is the end of the world it is definitely roadlegal (TÜV). the only question unanswered so far: does it void the :ford:warranty. i ordered my SILVY with the 7 year 140.000 km bumper to bumper warranty.

btw: i pic tells a thousand words, a vid tells a whole Story:




concerning the lux-meet. it is more than 700 km one way, and what is worse: there is a 70km Stretch of roadworks on the A7 Autobahn North of Hamburg. all in all this stands for one day of driving in each direction.

Thinking of getting proper tires, as the Pirelli P Zero's summer only do not fit into northern europe's temperature Windows more than 85% of the year...
I ordered the car in March 2015 to make sure it was here in time when my BMW z4 35i would go... in the meantime it was warm and dry at the dealer's
