Anyone recall which colors/#'s were Autos vs manuals? Random?

Here's the Color# breakdown with the color of the car #. Obviously white, black cars have opposing # color.

Personally I think it’s a bad deal unless it’s worth it to the buyer to own a track attack car. The only significant upgrade is a Watson roll bar. The cars have a decent amount of track use and some have had significant damage. You can get a clean HP for that price or less. If money were no object I would own one just because of the history.

I wonder if they will come with some sort of warranty. Do they debadge them? The cars did take quite a beating. Would be nice if accompanied by a maintenance log.

The school is pretty tight about the maintenance logs. I wasn't able to get it when I purchased a car. They said I could call the corporate office and try to get one. I already had the Oasis & Carfax, so I didn't bother badgering them further. No warranty. Once you take the car, it's yours to deal with. However, any remaining factory warranty will still be there. My 2020 still has the drivetrain warranty. Of course, some dealerships will try to argue "it's been tracked, warranty voided", but we know that's BS.

Badges stay on. The school will give the cars that don't sell to a dealership to try to unload to the general public on their lot and website. That dealership recently took the decals off 3 or 4 GT500 TA cars. Maybe to make them more friendly to the common buyer?

Not to mention the money they generated. I know it was "free" but was it really? I spent a few grand with 2nd day ,souvenirs hotels flights car rental. They could give them away and still be in the green.

Agreed. Clean cars can be bought for under that price. The invoice price for these 600A HP cars was only 6-8k above their asking price (remember they are ‘21’s). I’m not afraid of a maintained track car but these are overpriced. When I did the Track Attack myself and only one other participant had any track experience. I saw a lot of people that could barely drive a stick in the class missing shifts amongst other things.
