I have the Stage 2 kit with the 10r80 and the last update is really good not 100% perfect but close... I have no issues driving the car and to be honest could live with the current tune but I am sure they will continue to tweak it until it is close to 100% if not 100% perfect. I have since gone the custom tune route adding a BAP, injectors and going down to the 3.625 pulley and E85 so no longer on that tune but it was pretty good.

My traction control is permanently disabled for some reason. No one knows why.
My car just had the complete 3.0 Whipple installed as well, loaded the tune up and now the traction control isn't working and the digital dash displays "Pre-Collision Assist not available". It's been at the dealership for two weeks now and they can't figure it out thus far. Let me know if you get yours fixed.

Yes I have done that new cal tune. Better but still having issues In parking lots and drive through a. Made an appointment to get my car tuned for Oct 1st. We will see what is happening. Car o ly has 4200 miles on it. Already mad at myself for doing this to it. I had a 07 gt500 with a vmp gen11r that I sold to get this car and I'm kicking myself in the ass for doing it.

I'm in so cal so the best tunner out here is addiction motorsports. He doesn't have the new whipple software so I have to wait until he gets it.

If your tuner is using hptuners and modifying the whipple cal, he has to take a read of your current file (the one that’s in your car now)

Not sure what other new whipple software you could be talking about.

If he is using sct and makes a tune from scratch then he doesn’t need anything.

If your looking for a tune that just works and don’t want to spend the money twice, I would get a Lund or pbd tune.

So I loaded the new tune I got from whipple yesterday.
I was told it had a new trans tune and the cam profiles had been tweaked to make more torque below 5000 rpm so improve the 60 .He also said there was delay in the PED to also help (whatever that is )
....I can’t express how disappointed I am .
I did the profile relearn as instructed and first thing I noticed is the car does not kick down /down shift

I was still excited to see how it did at the track and I was at the line when I first noticed it felt like it has a 2 step - with revs limited to 2000 rpm even with the throttle all the way down
It left like a dog and would not rev past 4000 rpm
It ran 17.6@76 mph !!!

I went back to to pits to see what was up and I noticed the same thing in any automatic mode - D/S or in any perfomance mode - S, track or drag.
If you put it in manual mode it will rev normally .

Unfortunately I must have deleted the old tune and it was no longer on the hand held .
The car is really not driveable in automatic as it lugs the engine .
I am going to ask they send me the original tune so at least I can drive the car but there is something obviously wrong with this one .

At this point I think I am done with them and will also request my stock file so I can’t get an aftermarket tune !
If they can’t do that I am just going to have my dealer flash the car back to stock so I can send it to PBD.

Sorry for your luck guys. Lund Jr remote tuned my car on an eddy-current dyno and it's been spot on from the start.

It just sucks to spend 8000 dollars on a blower thinking that the car is going to run great and be crazy fast. Instead I have a brand new car that I dont feel comfortable driving because I'm afraid to hurt something. It seems like since whipple sent something out that wasn't ready to be shipped out yet because they were so far behind on the production date. Numbers are not even close to what they say it is. Now I have e to go spend about another 1000 to 1500 just to get the car to drive the way I need it to so I can enjoy it.

Jon Lund has been with me every step on the way on my tunes. 93 octane, E85, street maps, track maps, ensuring stock like drivability for my wife... I could not be more impressed with his response and results!
