So i know the 350 comes with a light weight battery, but the question is it light enough? I've been looking at a light weight lithium battery, in particular the Shorai LFX36L3-BS12.
I use a lithium battery in my KTM bikes with great success, and they're super light. This Shorai weighs 4.8 lbs, compared to about 30 lbs for the Ford battery. 540 CCA compared to 390.
25 LB weight savings for approx $ 270 seems like a good deal to me.
Anyone have any experience running a lithium battery in a car? Or a reason why not to?
Thanks
