There is a slow motion video on this forum some place that shows how / why launch control with stock rubber is slower then learning to launch.

In this video,You can count 9 seperate power (spinning wheels) to bogging (traction controll) cycles.

on power, off power, on power , off power is just no good for 0-60 times.

Those on off cycles kill your 60 foot times.

I can't be sure but it sounds like he just dropped the clutch there. It's going to work much better if you feather it a bit on street tires.

Ditch the factory Launch control. It will not hold the RPM's out of the hole. Put a real 2-step from MSD on it and you will be a lot happier. I love mine and my 60 foot times...

It's a stupid ass question. I have never heard of anyone starting any sort of a race on a hill.
I also think it's a reasonable question. Even at the slightest incline, with a manual transmission, you will roll back oh so slightly.

Keep in mind, there aren't as "experienced" people on this forum. Have an open mind towards other people's questions, and don't act like a jackass. All they are doing is trying to learn.
