I think I'm just going to wait. When the 5th gen Camaro first came out the header prices were crazy. Now you can get a set for $550.

Either way for the times that's cheap. I'm keeping my warranty in tact for now so maybe later I'll get a set.

Hopefully they're still there by the time I get accepted.

I'm looking at getting some Kooks really soon....I need some advice from some of you who are really knowledgable in this area, as I am not.

Do off-road headers make a significant amount more than catted? I have the Corsa Exhaust and I feel getting the off-road will be just way too loud...BUT if off-road makes way more HP (10+), I'd rather go that route.

What would you guys recommend?

Off-road will net you about 10whp over the catted ones. If you think it's too loud (and it prob will be) just have a shop weld in two Dynamax Bullet resonators. They're high-flow and take a bit of the sharpness out of the sound. You can get a set for around $120, because you need one for each side. That's what i'll more than likely be doing.

There are about 100 threads talking about the benefits of all types of headers, header brands, etc. please don't hijack threads, people will happily answer your questions in your own thread pertaining to header type benefits. People that click on this title, this thread, think they're going to see a thread about a set or used SW headers for sale, and whether or not they've been sold or shipping info etc, not information that's freely available all over this forum.

The first thing people will see on this thread is your post about these headers for sale with your link, nobody is hijacking this thread. One post I made won't hurt you:thumbsup:

Im going with catted. From what I have read its like a 5hp diff, but off road smells.

I never had an issue with smell on my catless WRX. The mustang is on E85, so it really smells nice. Debating going off road LTH or just getting cat deletes.
