Just Purchased a 2017 GT350. Super excited to be part of the voodoo club. Do you guys have any suggestions on must do mods? Right off the bat I remember people sayings it’s important to plug the fender vents to avoid rocks from scratching and chipping the side skirts. Does anyone have a link to these; I’m having trouble finding them. I think oil catch cans would be a good early investment as well. It’s a 2017 for only 3,800 miles....

Front splash guards that clip to the fenders. Some prefer the ZL1 add-on edition which require double sided tape. I've now had both and use the Jaeger Brothers edition now.
Passenger side catch can
Hood struts
Resonator delete
Aside from that, if looking to stay stock, drive and enjoy! Congrats.
All of this, plus E85 Proflex for me.

Btw, check your oil. These cars burn through oil at a high pace. Up to a quart per 1000 miles +/-.

Oh yeah and,

Check your oil!

Very nice score. Congratulations.
My only mod so far are the rock blockers behind the front tires and Shelby Letters on the front splitter.

Congrats on the new ride! Enjoy!!
The JLT Rock Blockers will prevent stones from entering, scratching and collecting in the side skirts.
JLT Rock Blockers

Others have already commented on some easy initial mods. I have also added Steeda jacking rails and a Steeda G-trac brace. I don't believe the jacking rails are absolutely necessary but I feel they are a nice "peace of mind" addition in the sense I know have additional support whenever the car is jacked up. The pinch-weld seem I'm sure is sturdy enough, but as I watched the tire shop go to jack up my car (because it was too low to get on their lift), I was happy I had the jacking rails there.
I installed the G-trac brace to eliminate some (most) of the tramlining I was feeling...and it did just that.

Not all burn oil. I know my ‘19 doesn’t. That said, keep checking until you don’t have to so much.
At a minimum change your oil now.
Do you have any documented service history?
Oh ya....drive the heck out of it!
CONGRATULATIONS

I'll second that not all cars burn oil too bad. I run redline 5w-50 and in 12-18 months of ownership I have added 2 quarts. In that time I put 12k miles on the car. I daily drive and have a good number of track miles on the car as well. Yes you should check your oil levels, but do not stress too much over it. Enjoy the car it is a uniquely good experience.

Passenger side catch can if not installed already. I have not found a drop on the driver side in the first 5,000 miles.

Any idea what the fix was by Ford that stopped the gen.2 motors from burning oil? Or is it just hit and miss?
