a friend of mine was invited by ford to attend the original s650 showing. He said they were told at the time that the S/R/GT4/GT3 will all be track only cars, and have been advertised as the track ready versions of the cars. In terms of stock body dark horse, I believe the S/R are going to make more power since they don't have the GT4 restrictions. It'll be interesting to see if these are road legal, but since they've been advertised as a part of the track program I wouldn't bet my money on it.

This is what I remember from the reveal event as well.
