This car is hard to wash! I have never seen so many crevices, indentations and small spots for water and unwashed dirt to collect. I'm going to have to learn the tricks all over again. At least the Foundry wheel are easy!

You are right ! Invest in a foam gun, I just detailed mine the other day and the foam gun works wonders !

Its a small tank that attaches to your hose. You fill the tank with special foaming liquid and water, then spray to your hearts content !

Especially helpful for the grill and rear taillights / decklid.

The PP wheels are.a bitch to clean. 500 miles of brake dust didn't come off with my 1:4 dilution of wheel cleaner (can't remember the name ). Gonna try 1:2 next time as it didn't take anything off >.< had to scrub the black wheels by hand !

watch junkman on youtube. Learned a few things that are helping with washing/drying. He uses an electric leaf blower to get excess water off.

Yes I agree with everything being said here. PP wheels are a bitch t keep clean and water hides in every crevice of the car. I'm going to try the electric leaf blower idea and use it strictly for the car only.

On a positve note Zymol Carbon wax has been freakin amazing!!! I have it on top of Meguiars Ultimate.

How many micro fibers towels do you guys go through in one wax? I bought the premium chemical brothers.

Washed it once and never doing it again. I will leave it to the pros from now on. I plan to get a monthly/unlimited membership at a local carwash and just go twice a week.

That's scary because most car wash places don't take care of the clothes that they use to dry our cars. Eek!

The leaf blower trick is one I have used since 2001. In fact, I use it on all of our cars when I wash them.
