so I installed my JLT yesterday, kit overall is nice, I am however a little disappointed in the finish of the intake tube at the MAF mounting area, but due to the gasket they include, its not an issue, I do however have a question, the instructions don't state, at least I didn't see it mentioned, I had to remove the stock seal that is on the MAF to get the included gasket to seat properly, what have others done here?

and finally, I am pleased with JLT's customer service, when I opened the kit, I was inspecting it to verify I had it all before removing the old system and flashing the updated Lund tune, the sound tube delete cap included in my kit was way to big for the sound tube outlet, I sent JLT an email and @Vinny@JLTPerformance promptly got back to me requesting my address so he can get the correct part out to me. Kudos!

The tube cap is in the mail this morning.

As for the MAF, the majority of folks keep the stock gasket on. Either way it'll work, the gasket we include is just for reassurance of no leaks around the MAF. The slots are CNC'd cut on this tube but sometimes can be a little larger where it just catches the edge of the OEM gasket.

I finally got around to driving my '15 GT manual with JLT's tune from Brent Hughes. All I can say is wow! Not only does the car pull like a freight train, there is significant drivability improvements over the canned Bama tune that was shipped from AM eight the intake. Even got a good giggle out of the wife who instantly noticed the power increase! Thanks Vinny and JLT!!

I just installed my JLT intake and im hearing a constant chirping sound when i accelerate. Is this normal?

No not normal.

Can you make it do the noise stationary? Could be a lot of different things or a coincidence. Check to make sure nothing is touching a belt.
