Joe Rati from Rati’s Rides did a comparison video at my dealership. It’s not posted yet, but should be up any day. The 350R was louder with more rasp.

Just a thought,
Could it sound louder due to the firing order of the Flat plane vs cross-plane crank? And the actual decibel value could be the same.
