I have been a truck guy for so long it is very hard for me to hang on to a car without getting bored. Luckily I now have a 62 F100 Unibody as a toy. Maybe it will keep me distracted enough to be happy with both.

There's several factors that will affect my decision, but there's a good chance I trade my Mustang in around 2019 for a new model with all the updates.

Will you keep or sell, yes or no?

What does that even mean?

Definitely keeping it. Plan to buy another DD soon. I would think about trading up to a GT350 but the ADM out here is about $10K and $25K for an R. Crazy.

Oh good, he's going to be one of those kids.
My son was one of "those" kids. Bought him a brand new Mustang when he started at LSU. Did well in college. Never gave me an ounce of trouble. Graduated and joined our family business. He is an awesome person. And BTW he's on his third Mustang two of which were paid for with his own money.

I'll eventually sell... I want to hold out for a 2020 model.

I normally keep cars for 8 to 10 years before I sell. Doubt if I'll keep this car that long.

Picked up a low mileage GT500 that is worth more holding on to than a run of the mill GT. Hard to sell even though i'm practically giving it away.

I plan to keep mine for a very long time, so resale value is of very little concern to me. The only time I ever think about it is if I had to sell it because something catastrophic happened and needed the cash beyond the emergency funds.
Exactly my thoughts. My plan when I bought my 2016 GT was that I would keep it forever since V8 engines wouldn't be around for ever.

Unless the S650 totally blows me away with jaw-dropping styling and a V8 configuration that satisfies my desires regarding displacement, induction, horsepower and torque... then the '16 is surely a keeper.

If they bring back the boss for it's 50th in the 19 and 20 year models I will for sure get one. I've always wanted a school bus yellow boss. Other than that, eh. Maybe if the next gen Nissan Z blows me away. Always had Z cars before. Not really thinking it'll be gone any time soon. Bought this for the long haul.

Always loved the Z cars. I had a Z31 and Z32 body styles. Even got to meet the lead designer of the Z33 once.

I was thinking of buying and old Z car and making it a track beast. We'll see...
