You'll make quite the fashion statement as you're reading your genuine "FORD DEALER ONLY 2016 FORD SHELBY GT 350 GT350R DEALER ONLY ORDER GUIDE. IT IS 8 PAGES PRINTED ON 8X11 PAPER BY LASER JET." It's only $12.83 (plus shipping), but it has to be better than the free one posted on Mustang6G because it's on Ebay, right?  :headbonk:

I can't believe this is actually a thing.

I get the logic but this wont stop. If this guy has the quota, he'll get a buyer regardless. I never thought Hellcats would go for double MSRP but they are. The GT350 wont be any different. Hell, if I had the money I'd do it without thinking twice. Sucks I'm not one of those guys but I cant fault them.
Smart People who have the money didn't get there by pissing it away on stupid ADM's. They pick the proper time to buy and don't follow the herd mentality. Kind of like investing in the stock market.

Case in point paid $121350 for a new on MSO 2005 Ford GT from a bankrupt dealer back in 2009. Sold it for a very good profit years later and put that money back in the market. MSRP was $166945 with all four options . People were paying over $190K for these cars back in 2005 . See buyers order.
Never have and never will pay ADM .

No offense, the economy and ford's standing in the market place are nothing like they were in 2009. I bought a used 4 runner in 2008 for sub 10k, sold it last year for 12k after putting 50k miles on it. I know I could not replicate that deal today.

I can believe it, especially if it was no miles or very low miles and in perfect condition. He could have tripled his money at the right collector-car auction during the last couple of years.

Sold it for $255k put that back in the stock market which is over $400K today. People who paid $195K back in 2005 and sold it today for $300k net after collector car auction fees are only making 4% on their money....do the math. That doesn't account for insurance and expensive maintenance for parts .

Sorry for getting off topic about ADM's on GT 350's
That was one hell of a car for sure but dangerous to drive fast. No traction control or stability control on cold tires it was a nightmare.

You bought it from a bankrupt dealer. That's a fluke situation that may never happen again, not the norm. Typically other dealers will come in and buy up the lot at a discount through the bankruptcy court/trustee to put on theirs before the public gets their hands on it.

People buying theirs here actually want to drive it, not buy it for a quick flip profit. So if $5k ADM gets them a car that makes them happy who is anyone else to tell them no with their money?

Generally, I don't get why people are so concerned what others do with their money if they are spending a little more to get something that makes them happy. It's not "pissing away money." Most buyers in the market for a GT350 can afford the extra $5-10k and it won't break them.

No you are wrong Ford came in and ran the dealership until they could find a new buyer for the dealership. This happens more than you think. I bought the car from Ford Motor credit. Ford could have sold it to anybody or dealer but I purchased it . It's your money if you think ADM's are fine then go for it. You will enjoy a great car that's for sure.

Interesting that the GT and the GT350 get almost the same fuel economy, yet the GT has a GG Tax of $2100. I wonder how much is due to changes in the way FE is measured, changes in the way the taxes are levied, or does that one MPG city difference throw the GT into a different tax bracket.
