Ok So I will need new rear tires soon. I never liked the 2 different sizes in tires with 275/40 and 255/40. I want to go with different rims and square them up. What is needed to do this? I have tried the 275 rims up front and it hits the strut (no spacer). I am running a 25mm spacer all around right now. I have not tried the 275 on the front with the spacer to see what it might look like.

This is what I am looking for if possible
1. Square the wheels up and clear the front Brembo 6 piston brakes.
2. A wheel and tire setup that is Lighter. (No drag racing setups Not interested)
3. Running without the spacers.

What are my options and specs on wheels?

19x10" ET35 (or ET40) wheels with 285/35R19 tires is a very popular no-spacer square setup and a lot of good, light, strong aftermarket flow-formed or spun-forged (same thing) wheels are offered in these sizes for our cars. There are other square fitments, but 19x10 is one of the most popular.

MRR, SVE brands offer a variety of designs with the above specs, I have some slightly more expensive Project6gr wheels which still make me smile after 3 years on the car. Apex SM-10 19x10 ET40 is also a bit more expensive, but a great strong light wheel.

You could run a 19x9.5" wheel ET40 or ET45, but I don't think there are nearly as many options in that size as the 19x10. You could run a 19x9 ET45 (which is a stock mustang size) square and they'd look fine on the rear.

Here are those Project6gr 19x10 ET35 7-spoke wheels in satin black. to be fair, the bottom pic might have a thin 5mm spacer on the front, but its just for looks, its not at all required.

Agree 19x10 with 285/35R19 et35 is a standard setup with lots of options. I run 19x9.5 with 275/40R19 tires, the same size as the PP1 rears except with a +33 offset that fits all around.

Here are a few options in 19x9.5 that will fit and clear the Brembos. All are lighter flow formed wheels, too.

Stance SF03, SF07
Vertini RF1.1
Ace Alloy AFF02, AFF05, AFF06, etc.
TSW Bathurst, Geneva, Chrono, Nurburgring

OE rear 19x9.5 ET 52.5 PP wheels with 275/40R19 MPSS and 25mm spacers - all around

Fits pretty close to perfect. I'm lowered about 1.25" front, 1.5" rear with no rubbing even on track. I may go down to a 20mm spacer on the rear, but it's not required.

My effective offset is +28mm with the spacers. If you got 10" wheels with a +35 offset you could fit a 275 easily, a 285 maybe, all depending on the brand and tire shape.

The perfect 19" squared setup is 19x10 35MM paired up with 285/35/19 tires.
Here is an example of this setup:

Easy, get PPL2 wheels and tires

PPL2? If you mean PP2, those wheels are not square, different size and offset front and rear. And heavy.

Ultimate preformance is probably square 19x11 with 305/30R19s. But you need a big front spacer and long wheels studs. The easy button is 19x10 square. ET40 might need a small spacer (3-5mm, no need for long studs) with wider than average 285/35R19. Should be OK with 275s or just get ET35 wheels.

There is very little tire selection in 295, or 305/35. And not much wheel selection in 10.5 wheels. So essentially no middle ground between the above standard options. You can of course go narrower, but I assume you want an upgrade over the PP 19x9.5.

I like the SVE wheels for price and weight (and a 11" option). If price was the primary factor my choice would be the OE Wheels LLC 19x10 PP replicas (yes, they fit up front with no issues). And these are still a bit lighter than stock.
