I have my Sniper IM and purchased the Holley TB adapter plate. I also have the BBK 90mm TB.

Anyone have any issues with their tuner, tuning the BBK? Debating if I should just send it back and buy the GT350 TB and MMR adapter plate and save $300. I don't want tuning or drivability issues.

Based on what Lund have told me, the 350 TB is harder to tune because its a GM/Ford unit so electronics are not so straight forward, hence people with surging and cold start issues.

Whereas BBK unit uses same electronics as stock unit, you could even fit it without a tune and it would run OK, so in theory the BBK is better for drive ability and easier to tune for as they don't need to mess with the throttle tables, DBW, IMRC and torque tables to get it to drive right. Which is a lot more difficult then the tuning for gaining some additional horse power.

There have been a couple guys post on some of the Mustang FB groups (ACMR) with their Sniper results. Been between 470-480 RWHP with CAI, e85 and catless headers. Another guy gets his Sniper setup dynoed tomorrow and will post up his results, too.

I am interested in seeing how this will preform at the track. Mine is sitting with UPS to be delivered tomorrow. Lund flex fuel tune, 47s, Airaid and x pipe.

I'm going to guess that if the BBK doesn't come with all the throttle body data needed to update the tune, then you will probably have issues.

The GT350 TB can be set up with tables copied out of the GT350 tune. Not sure if the BBK comes with setup data that your tuner can use.

Can you post those results or a link to them please?

I second this. I'm almost dead set on a GT350 manifold but if this one is making better gains I'll change my plans.

On the 2015-2016 Mustang S550 Group group on Facebook one guy posted a Dyno run of 445/369 with the stock TB and said 463/387 with a PMAS intake and 90mm TB unknown DA for the pulls.

From the research I have done. You will need to retune. Lund has the most experience with this intake so far. charge motion control valves are removed (same as the Boss or CJ intake). They charge $50 extra for this intake. I live @ 6000 feet and I have about a 15% power loss from thin air. They sounded like I should be @ roughly 400/410 rwhp on E85 and a single piece drive shaft. Drive shaft is worth 15 to 20 at the tires. So 450 to 475 @ sea level (depending on mods and fuel) is not that far off. P.S. I am not speaking for Lund I am just saying I told them my target ET for 2017 and they said yeah no issue with my setup. Until I dyno the car it's a guess. Remember that peak HP is at 7400 rpm. Many people claim it pulls hard up to 7850.

Nice can you find a link to it or link to the group? I can retune it myself via my hp tuners that's not an issue. Im mostly just concerned about modifying the fuel line and vacuum lines to fit it. Nice to know it fits with Pmas intake because that's what I have.

A few write-ups here. I did the filter on passenger side, 3/8 fuel line for purge and brake booster. I will need to play with vacuum setup, 4 ports on the underside. I did -6an line some want to run -8an. parts list is easy 3/8 quick connect from the firewall to a -6an connector. then a 180 connector. since I am -6an I have an -6 to -8 reducer.

Here is a good write up including his fuel line parts list. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2015mustang/permalink/583486528516839/?match=aG9sbGV5

Subscribed to post. I just picked up this manifold and hope to have some input.

It's a pretty straight forward swap. I just had to purchase a few pieces of vacuum hose.
