GT350s Are Hitting Dealer Lots!!!

Just got off the phone with FP. Things are moving in Flat Rock, and cars are being shipped - by rail, to the closest yard to the dealer and then trucked from there. My VIN is over 1,000, and I have a build week of 11/16.

Just got off the phone with FP. Things are moving in Flat Rock, and cars are being shipped - by rail, to the closest yard to the dealer and then trucked from there. My VIN is over 1,000, and I have a build week of 11/16.

My VIN is 429 and my "Blend Date" is today! ETA is listed as Nov 1 - Nov 7 for my Toronto area dealer. Hope they stick to it.

P.S> - I don't think the VIN has much to do with build date. Just look at bullittman's spreadsheets, there doesn't seem to have any co-relation between the two.

Anyone know how to decipher these codes below as seen in the bottom of the window stickers?

Specifically: "FK201 R RA X 530 001639 10 20 15" Does this have to do with shipping logistics & details?

there isn't...particularly for R's.
my R has a low VIN (286), was originally scheduled to be produced Aug 24 (day of) and has now been bumped back to Nov 30. It appears that many of the R's are slated for week of Nov 30. Given that it's been bumped so many times...I have no confidence that Nov 30 is a solid date.

I got my railcar info from my salesman and that allowed me to track my car from Flat Rock to the rail depot before it boarded the truck to be delivered.

First real world review:
Well, I just put the first 250 miles on my 2015 GT350 this weekend. It is a different animal than our Ford GT or GT500. Kind of like a Boss 302 on steroids. High RPM power band. From 4,000 to 8,250 it screams. Every aspect of it is refined to perfection! Brakes, suspension, tires, shifter, etc. Buy one, if you can find one. Great Road and/or Track car! Keith

I was researching a bunch of VINs and was wondering if those codes translate to anything in regards to planned release or shipment dates, or whatever.... especially the "10 20 15"

Here's VIN 130 through 137.... these 2015 GT350's were all produced back in July 22-29.

i think the 10 20 15 number is the date they invoiced the dealer for it. mine says 10 14 15 on it and was built one week later, i saw the window sticker online the next day on 10 15 15, so i believe thats when the paperwork is all done and the billing and sticker are produced.

Yes "it's like a boss 302 on steroids ".This is what I thought it would be like. So the test numbers will better then the boss. Can't wait for some testing from the mags. 1/4 mile for a non R maybe 11.8 from a hot shoe.
