Those of you with the regular GT350 may or may not have thought of this, but what mods are you considering to be on the same level or higher than the R model.
Could start with lighter wheels, aluminum DS, back seat removal, lighter battery, remove passenger seat, replace driver seat with more race spec seats, etc.

If you were lucky enough to get a GT350 at a low cost, maybe a goal of adding mods that equal the R at retail for $62k would be a nice discussion. There will always be infighting within the brands (Corvette vs Camaro, M3 vs M2, left hand vs right hand ).

My mods include,
ARH long tubes and off road X pipes with stock mufflers. (Already installed)
Forgeline GA1R open lug 11x19 wheels (in hand need to install)
Titanium 12 point open end lug nuts (in hand need to install)
Michelin pilot sport cup 2 305/30ZR19 (in hand need to install)
GT350R front and rear springs (in hand need to install)
BMR vertical links, toe links, lower control arm bearing, sway bar links, diff bushings, cradle bushings (in hand need to install)
Ford performance toe link bearing, steel clutch line, left and right oil cans (have bearings in hand, waiting on the rest)
Romac harmonic balancer (in hand need to install)
Vorshlag camber plates (waiting) I'll start with the R track Aliment and adjust from there.
GT350R red calipers (in hand need to install) for looks
GT350R oem RSD (installed)
GT350R front splitter (waiting)
Sullivan racing pedals (installed)
Shelby coolant tank (still waiting)
Steeda clutch spring (installed)
Lund flex fuel Ngauge (in hand waiting to install)

JLT Cai (in hand not sure if I'll use it or not)

Once my dyno pulls are done for the ARH exhaust I'll be installing everything.
