Going to install diode dynamics DRL tri bar LED replacements myself. advice?

Any advice for people who have done this before? Or just follow the videos.

The one thing my friends have recommended is to apply my own glue after I open the headlight housing to seal it back up.

The DD videos just show them reheating the glue again to get is loose, then putting the headlight casing together. But my friend said a lot of the glue will have clumped up differently.

Any advice on that or anything for this?

Dunno about resealing, but here's what DD told me when I PM'd them.

The 2015+ Mustang headlights use Permaseal, which can be a bit more difficult to open than Camaro headlights. With that being said, if you put them in an oven at 265 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5-6 minutes per cycle, you should be able to work them open.

Just ordered them! Fogs and tri bar replacements

Will update when I get a chance to install them.

What's a "cycle" with regards to this? Like I heat it up and take it out again? But put it back in? How many cycles?

Should I be worried about moisture and stuff getting into the headlight after I open it up?

Edit - the headlights are not totally sealed. They are supposed to "breath".
