despite the weight on Motor Trend Head 2 Head, RCF was only .3 sec behind the M3 on streets of willow. M has issues getting out of corners cleanly as stated in the article. Big engines are more exciting, easier to drive

4,000lbs sounds like a lot to S197 people but it's within spitting distance of an S550.
2015+ GT Manual
3,704 lbs

2014 GT Manual
3,618 lbs

+ 86 lbs


Yes, the S550 weighs more then the S197. But even with the +86 lbs gain it's still aways from being a 4000 lb car.

Correct. My premium auto weighs in at 4010 with driver. And I'm 260-270ish.

Do you ever think about dieting to lower your drag times? Or let a skinny guy run the car? :D
Haha. I'd love to put the 15 GT on a diet and run low 11s. Unfortunately, it's my wife's car and she doesn't want me removing seats. Afraid of squeaks. We do plan to run skinnies next season. Along with a Gt350 intake & TB. Shooting for 11.3-11.4s. My 95 Gt currently sits at 3000 pounds with me in it. It's to the point. I'll need to look into lexan glass or a tube chassis to reduce weight farther. I could stand to lose 20 pounds but I'm 6'4. So 260-270 doesn't look bad. It just slows me down. :mad:

Put the FP power pack 2 or 3 and you keep your warranty or Roush performance gear. Can't wait to see some road test on these power packs. PP with the power pack 3 and some better rubber. That would put it 1st place for sure. With money to spare.
Why is the HP only 415 on the mustang ? The dash and the lack of a tower brace not sure this is a PP.

Because RHD euro spec cars are different from US spec cars.

RHD = more restrictive exhaust manifold = less power.

1) M4
2) Mustang
3) RC-F

The RC-F isn't that great of a "sports" car, I wouldn't put it anywhere close to the M4 or Mustang.

Bahahahaha, Lexus doesn't even sell sports cars, granted they do sell the illusion that your luxury car is 'fast' and 'modern' but in reality the only fast car they sell is the LFA and for 340k...you can keep it. They were the last auto manufacturer to come out with a distinctive performance level of their brand, and from all the non-ridiculous auto mags they have stated that the F series v-8's sound great, while having less hp than their counterparts, and that they are squirrelly-Er thro a corner than any squirrel on the first day of spring.
I'll take the GT you can keep the m4, it's nice but if I wanted a luxury performance car I'd buy the cts-v or ats-v considering they have been taken the benchmark from the m3 and m5 since 2013. And by a larrrrrrge margin at that.

Research Optic Armor replacement glass, 50% lighter than OEM. Your welcome.

RCF - 1:24.05
Mustang GT PP - 1:24.29 (in a different video)

if the RCF isnt that great then what does that make the M4 or Mustang?

For twice the money you get only 0.2 and 0.6 faster around that track...within/close to the noise for even a seasoned HPDE driver.
