Getting ready to install my SW lt's with cats, custom tune?

I have the SCT with a Lund tune, should I research someone within two hours of Raleigh NC area and get a custom tune or send off for a revision from Lund? It's pretty much stock with the lt's with hf cats and the resonator delete H pipe. I saw substantial gains with a custom tune on my LS1 cars after longtubes, but I realize this car's computer and wide band 02's are quite a bit more sophisticated. We have Fastlane Motorsports, Piedmont Custom Motorsports, MidAtlantic Performance in Richmond, ProDyno in Ft Mill SC, and Randy Haywood at Carolina Dyno in Wilmington.

datalog and send to lund to review and if needed revise tune


i'm right now doing the same exact thing except i added catless longtubes

I will say that Lund did not do anything when I added headers. I think they turn off the rear 02s when they first tune the car and that's it.

Custom dyno tune will usually pull out a little more power from what I've heard

lund will turn off the rear o2s even with out headers, so that you can add them later, same thing they do like provisioning the car for a converter so you can add it later.

the only add'l benefit would be if the shop was willing to spend an entire day, going over and over multiple cam timing changes, that might yield an extra 2-5 hp, over what lund already has figured out on these cars.

and thats a maybe....
