Car was delivered Thursday last week (3/12), and I requested no prep and no washing - which the dealer honored. I pulled the plastic myself. This weekend I spent my usual 8 hours doing a full detail. The paint was the cleanest I've ever worked with.

Process:
(CG = Chemical Guys)

Wash - CG Bug + Tar Wash
Car Pro Iron X - and rinse
Clay bar
CG Blacklight
CG JetSeal
CG Black wax
CG Hybrid V7

The last picture is my reflection in the driver's door. Enjoy!

Looks awesome. Wish I had the patience to do a process like that.
All you have to do is make friends with a detailing nut like me! I've spent 8+ hours on many friend's vehicles. :eyebulge:

Sly - the car looks exceptional.

I've got a detail guy up in Cedar Park that I used several times to detail my G37S. I'm gonna let him do Ruby in a couple of months.

From your pics, it looks like you do just as good a job as he does; and he's good.

Thanks for the kind words!

That Ruby Red is going to look outstanding with a proper detail. Beautiful color with a ton of depth to unlock.

I've been doing it a long time, and it's definitely a passion of mine. I've done everything from a friend's black BMW M6 to full on 10 year old restoration details (14+ hours over 2 days).

I love cars and I really enjoy getting nose to nose with them.

I thought it was fairly solid. My sonic blue 03 Cobra was softer in my opinion.

Well done! Looks clean. Must feel so satisfying and rewarding doing the detailing yourself.

Interesting my 02 gt and 03 mach were 10x the hardness of the 15 unless paint is still that fresh but it was in stock for at least a month or more

Please move to Ohio slythetove, do you prefer cash or beer for detailing payment? :)

Seriously, nice job. The reflection shot says it all.
