Why do some models have fangs on the lower grill and others don't? Is it PP, gt or eco boost, or just having adaptive cruise? I'd like to see good pics of what they look like.

If your talking about the lower grill only I believe with adaptive cruise they are the same. But other than that yeah gt has fangs Eco does not.

Block heater cars don't have fangs in the lower grill.

This is what I'm referring to. Fangs on upper but not lower. Why no lower fangs? This is a pic of a gt so shouldn't it have lower fangs?

So do they have the same lower grill as the adaptive cruise cars?
The above picture is the same adaptive cruise lower grill I was referencing.

This is the 6th or 7th thread on this.

My base GT car had that lower grill. No premium = no ACC.

So I did search and saw the threads. Still a lot of contradictions with others. I guess I will go on the assumption if you have a block heater and/or acc then no lower fangs for you.

Mine is a GT Premium with no block heater or ACC, but I do have the 50th Anniversary Package, and I have the same lower grille pictured above.

GTs will have fangs in the bottom UNLESS 1)the car has an engine block heater, 2)the car has adaptive cruise, or 3)the car has the 50th appearance package. All of those cars will have the same lower grille as the one pictured. Hope that helps!

As far as we know, all European cars also have the alternate lower grill. Not that I care much about it, as it will probably mostly be visually obscured by the obligatory front license plate.
