FR Track handling pack on a GT convertible

For those of you who wonder if the Ford Racing track handling pack (M-FR3A-M8) will fit the convertible the short answer is maybe.

I've reached out to FR and here's the official answer I got:

That kit will actually fit the convertible. The parts will actually bolt up and go on the car. HOWEVER, we don’t call it out for the convertible because the spring rates are different for the convertibles and coupes. We don’t actually test the parts on convertibles so the handling balance may not be correct.

I would recommend looking at the 2016 Mustang GT convertible with the Performance Pack. It has the upgraded suspension and brakes and is a more track capable car.

Thanks, I was considering that pack. It would be nice if they told us what the spring rates & sway bar diameters are for stock, pp, convertible, and fr version.
