The torq X is an awesome DA. Recently upgraded to the 10FX and love it as well. Solid price there as well!

Those are pretty easy to overheat, a consequence of the compact head and integrated grip.

Can't get any cheaper than a Harbor Freight DA polisher. Bout 59.99 need better pads tho, HF pads are junk. Other than that the polisher is perfect for a weekend warrior application.

Same here. I've had mine for 3-4 years now with no issues. Swapped out the backing pad and use nice pads and it's great.

Haven't used mine yet but I just got a porter cable from CA and I turned it on and it vibrates like crazy!
