Fogs off with signal

I just noticed that my fog light turns off when I turn on my signal, not both just the side the blinker is on. Is this something that is normal?

It's so the fog light doesn't wash out the turn signal, and then on coming people can see the turn signal better. They aren't the largest/brightest front turn signals I've ever seen.

I think the turn signals/parking lights need to be thought out better by Ford. I would have preferred the turn signals to be in the headlight corners, and nothing down by the foglights.

Yess that would be awesome. I would like to get rid of the parking light/turn signal alltogether!!

Damn. Never knew this. That sucks, especially since I'm going with the Roush fascia kit soon. The fog lights won't be directly under the signal turning lights so eh... can't imagine that this would look cool. Going to be looking out for an answer here if someone finds something out.
