Just curious, is there anyone here on this site that actually works at Flat Rock Assembly and builds these cars?

Wife was a launch manager for the 2004 new generation Mustang, she left Flat Rock about 10 years ago after being there for 15 years as her first job out of college. Dearborn is much less stressful than being at the plant, I bought mine last October from the Ford dealer in Flat Rock.

IM fairly sure most assembly workers stay off these sites and I would not be surprised if they have to sign NDAs which also would keep them off these sites. Anything you say or do on a public forum can get you fired any more.

Most corporations have "Social Media Policies" that hold their workers accountable for their public presence. The one's I have seen in the retail landscape actually have clauses that state the employer can use 'social media history' as a cause of discipline.

I'd be willing to bet the person that is responsible for confirming panel fit wouldn't admit it if they are on here.

The blue oval forum is an interesting read. Lots of good information there.

It makes sense that there would a social media policy for the workers to prevent information leakage or making incorrect statements. Too bad, because it would be nice to speak directly with one of the workers if we had a question about our cars.

When I was big into newer Mopars, I was on a forum where the SRT Team would actually have a specific time they would log-in to the form and field questions from their enthusiasts. They wouldn't comment on future product releases, etc., but would answer questions about specific parts, vehicle functionality or design. I liked being able to ask and read responses directly from the team responsible for the engineering or build of the cars. It was pretty cool.

I worked for Kentucky Truck Plant as an engineer for 4 years, just left Jan 2019. I generally understand processes and procedures, but not sure I could give any insight if it's something truly mustang specific

I can promise we don’t sign NDAs but we are careful about our social media posts. With that said, that guy on final who checks panel gap momma a hoe fo sho.
