I just noticed that http://www.etis.ford.com locked down the software module section, you need a dealer login now. So does this mean we need to pay our dealer now to get the software updates?
I know for sure that there are 2 updates available already, sync2 and steering module update.

Yes you could make a connection with the cars built in wifi. You found a download link for sync only on the owner site or for the other modules as well? Maybe I should sign up then as I thought ford owner was US only.

Are you sure of that? I'm pretty sure that wifi in our car is useless since it can only mirror another wifi connection or cellphone connection. I read this many times in other forum sections.

These are the last 11 digits from the VIN, now you need to add the first 6 to it based on the type of car you ordered.

Most likely for yours is 1FA6P8

Btw your car has a build date of 30/11/2015

You have to put in "Cargo ID" your VIN and then click on "Track" (found this info in a BMW forum which also shipped with WWL)

But I still have "no records", maybe we can wait few days and then try again

Mine was correct on the arrival date in the Belgian port within 1 day. Cotus said 26 and the ship arrived the 27th. after that it remained in transit ;-)

European cars use K-Line ships which don't have tracking.
Australian cars use WWL ships therefore they are able to be tracked.

If you find which ship your car is booked on then you can view the schedule on K-Lines website - find it by googling "kline atlantic roro schedule"
