I finally took delivery Sept 13, 2023 of my 2023 Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L High Performance Package with Handling Pack, 101 Interior, and in Race Red. It's a long story which you can find on my web site involving my 2008 Mustang Bullitt web page and on my new 2023 Mustang 2.3L High Performance web page. My car has Chassis number P0215.

I'm wondering if someone is keeping track of how many 2023 HPP cars were made?

N1003 here! Iā€™m going with ā€œnot that many.ā€ Wouldnā€™t surprise me if total production 2020-23 is less than 7,000.

Enjoy! The HPP is such an entertaining drive!

Also, if youā€™re interested in a spare set of those Corsa4ā€™s, I have a set of zero mile takeoffs from my 2022 HPPā€¦..

I really am enjoying this car. It is exactly as I expected it to be. This book ends my Mustang ownership. My first new car was a factory ordered 1979 Mustang Cobra manual in Bright Red with the 2.3L Turbo and now this factory ordered 2023 Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L HPP manual in Race Red with the 2.3L Turbo. These two cars are the only factory ordered cars I've ever taken delivery of in all of my 39 cars I've owned in my life (11 being Mustangs).

With my car chassis number being P0215 and built pretty close to the end of the total 2023 production of about 3-4 months, perhaps there is only maybe 300 for 2023?

I just did. Thanks. I'd like to see it broken down to Manual vs Automatic and country

I might be interested. How much are you willing to pay someone to take them?

Welcome aboard. I've got a '20 HPP. Get on the list the other guy posted.

A '79, huh? You must be old as dirt! It wasn't new...but it was current...I had a '79 Pace car. Mine had a 302, though. I swear, these Eco motors drive just like the best 302 you could have imagined in the 5.0 era. They've got a lot of low end punch, flat torque curve and then fall off a relatively early. It makes for a fun little car that handles better than 99% of the cars out there.

Be aware, especially with the stock tires, it can get a little tail-y. The tires are good for about 10k miles (and only in warm driving), but then they lose a lot of grip, especially in the rear. My car is tuned up, so a little friskier than stock, but it got my attention a couple time. Also, I know of another two guys who wadded their cars up. These tires are absolute sh!t when it's cold.

Nice! My wife came very close to buying a 2023HPP with HP in White but decided to order a 2024 HPP instead. Then the strike and eagerness to buy set in so we found a non PP Convertible and brought it home.

And saved 9 grand. Of which you could spend 3 or so and have a vastly better car than either of the other options.

I was 21 years old when I bought the 1979 Mustang Cobra. I'm 65 years old now. If memory serves, 8HP more for the 5.0 then. Fuel Economy was important around then, just like now, especially with the gas prices in Vancouver, BC. I noticed these 2023 tires are bad when cold. I won't be driving it a lot though.
