After staring at them in my garage for months knowing I won't have a free weekend til probably winter, I went ahead and paid to have them installed. The guy who owns the shop was a long time Ford tech who I used to work with. He said they were the nicest headers he's ever installed. Great fitment and great quality. Definitely love what it did for the sound. I have a h-pipe and stock mufflers. Probably start looking at mufflers in the spring. I have a Lund tune, may try a datalog and see what he says. Thanks RDP Store for the great deal on the headers. Sidenote, I did use new Ford manifold gaskets.

The shop where I took mine recommended the Ford gaskets as well.

Didnt want to smell like fuel either. Been there and done that with my ls1 cars. Didn't help that I had a cam in those either.

You said you like what it did for the sound. How much louder is it? Can you live with it daily? My wife is encouraging me to get headers but the car is already loud af.

Definitely liveable, I do have stock mufflers though. I can see trying the GT500 muffler mod or something similar. These cars are so quiet inside, it's sometimes hard to tell how much louder it is outside. It's 94 here today again, so I was windows up and ac on!

The sound insulation in the back seat is incredible. Flip it down and go for a spirited drive and you'll think your muffler is inside the car. It's amazing how much sound enters the trunk from your exhaust and gets absorbed by the back seat.
