Im getting the ess g3 kit next month and I was wondering can I run 10 psi on the pump 93 safely without a fuel system and my second question is would you recommend getting the fuel pump and the pump booster too?

Just FYI. ESS and Procharger are both brands of centrifugal superchargers. There is no ESS Procharger.

FOR AN ESS...

If you are Gen 2, you can run the 115mm (9psi) pulley safely on 93, no lower.

Gen 3 can only run the 120mm (8psi) on 93.

That will net you somewhere around 680whp.

Those psi ratings are for the G2 blower @ 7200 rpm, so for the G3 you'll be making more psi and even more if taking it way above 7200 rpm... so keep that in mind, I would not run any smaller than those pulleys if I were you, until you get a fuel system and go E85.

You need the pump booster, skip the fuel pump. And like already mentioned if you have a 2015-2017 car get a 115mm pulley for 93. If you have an 18+ car get the 120mm.

Off topic but also on topic - do we know what the current lead time is for any of the ESS kits?

so not to ninja this guys thread lol, but I saw you made 680 with basically the same setup as I have and in a manual which should pull higher numbers on a dyno. Wengerd told me i should be at or a little over 700 wheel. So now im curious. granted, 20hp isnt much, but being in the 700s is better than being in the 600s 😂

I also don't have headers, still running the OEM manifolds w/ OEM cats, and every dyno is different, it was hot out when I went, that I know.. so 20hp don't mean anything imo. Too many variables. Get it on a dyno

oh i thought you had headers nm then. I would like to do a dyno but hear so many horror stories that im sure are pretty rare but when they happen people talk about it lol. Seems like there are shitty dyno operators that push shit too far.
